What is Bordeaux En Primeur?

Buying En Primeur or as "wine futures" means you are buying a wine before it has been bottled. Customers are likely then to have a chance to invest or cellar purchase as their own enjoyment with their own choice in advance at a fairly price range.

Why Purchase 2023 En Primeur?

• Increased quantity of the vintage is redistributed by Rainfall in mid-September
• After a cool start to the season, an Indian summer gave another aspect to this vintage.
• A heatwave between 18 & 24 August that changed the face of the vintage for good, plus a cooler summer compared with 2022.
• The harvest was widespread, lasting from 20 August to 8 October
• A magnificent year for Cabernet Sauvignon (particularly from the Left Bank).
• The aromatic potential was good, with excellent aromatic intensity and ripe fruit flavours.
• An enjoyable, delicious and easy to drink 2023 vintage

Reduced Prices: In comparison with 2022, the future system offers customers a great discount price:

2023 EP prices have decreased 25%-35% from 2022's levels, providing excellent value for advance purchases.

How does buying En Primeur work?

First, our team has selected number of wines assorted in different categories in terms of customer's favourite, (see attached PDF for details). All wines are sold in original wooden cases, and in many cases, one can choose to have the wine bottled in Magnum, Double-Magnum, Half bottles or Imperial formats. These sizes become much rarer after En Primeur season.

Once the wine becomes physically available after bottling (approximately the first half year of 2026), we will have them all shipped to our warehouse. You can then ask us to deliver your wines, or we can store them for you. (See attached PDF for details)

Access to the finest selection in Exceptional Provenance:

En Primeur enables everyone to purchase limited-release wines at the best condition that may not become available again at the same price after bottling.
